Dunkerton Community School District
Work Session
January 14, 2009
ICN Room
Meeting was called to order by President Brandes at 6:40 p.m.
Present: President Mark Brandes,
Vice-President Alen Nagel, Tony Gamerdinger, Chris Gibson, Joe Stafford
Superintendent Jim Stanton, Principal Julie Woods
and Board Secretary Beth Weepie
Motion was made by Nagel, second by Gamerdinger to approve the agenda.
Motion carried unanimously.
Board visited about several items on the agenda. Board of Directors did not need
to go into closed session. Topics discussed were Building and Grounds and putting together a committee for future
decisions. Past and possible future budget cuts were discussed regarding the upcoming negotiations. Mr.
Stanton gave a report on the status of the past water main repairs.
Motion was made by Gamerdinger, second by Nagel
to adjourn the board work session at 8:50 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
Next regular board meeting
is February 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the ICN room.
